Here is the barn that houses our Western horses and tack. The stalls are twelve by twelve with water fountains. Fresh grain, wood chips, and only the finest of materials build up the powerful horses housed here.

Here is the Western Indoor Riding Ring, a state of the art covered arena. It is 110 feet by 160 feet, and it has a small storage shed right outside for barrels, trail class obstacles, and emergency equipment (leg wraps, first aid kit, etc.) for horses and riders.

Here is the Western Outdoor Riding Ring, a shady, spacious arena a short distance from the barn. It is 150 feet by 200 feet, and it has a small storage shed right outside for barrels, trail class obstacles, and emergency equipment (leg wraps, first aid kit, etc.) for horses and riders.

Occupying the south end of the property, the Western horse trails run by the beach with a cool, refreshing wind. The trails are open for any students to use. On Saturdays and Sundays, the trails are open to the public. They wind through the property, passing by both barns and all the student houses.

This is the Daufuskie Cross Country trail. It is regionally famous for the immaculate jumps, perfect terrain, and the excellent conditions. It is available for the Western students, though they ride at their own risk. The public is also allowed to use it on the weekends for a fee.

Here is where our mares go out for the night and run around and play. They have their own herd established, and the horses know very well who is in charge. A short walk from the Western barn, the mares' pasture is filled with wild flowers and clover and a few sheep as well.

| ||Stallion Turnout Rings||
While mares and geldings can live peacefully in a herd together, stallions cannot due to dominance (ego) issues. They each have their own ring to be turned out in with fresh water, an ample supply of hay, and loads of attention from anyone looking at the school. The turnout rings are right by the Academy main house, the original Plantation house. Make sure you latch the gates tightly when you turn out your studs...

Well, I think the name describes it all, to be honest... This pasture is just big enough for two horses to have some fun. It's hidden at the back of the campus under lots of tree cover.

The Thoroughbreds are the top competitive riders. The Thoroughbred cabin is much nicer than the rest of the cabins, as these are the students whose tuition is greater than the others. The cabin is three stories. Each student gets a queen bed, specially chosen diets to suit their needs, and a private parking spot for their car and trailer.

The Morgans are the advanced riders. The Morgan cabin appears very much like any cabin you would find at a summer camp, except that it is two stories. Inside is a much more enjoyable find: two spacious twin beds for every bedroom, and a bathroom separates two bedrooms. The Morgan Cabin houses sixteen students, eight boys on the ground floor and eight girls on the second story. A great room splits the girls' rooms; the kitchen splits the boys'.

Here we have the housing for the staff. The Paso Fino House is spacious and completely elegant. The bedrooms are fifteen by fifteen, and they all have clean hardwood floors (Yeah right.) A queen bed and open closet are provided. There is a kitchen on the ground floor, along with a great room complete with an antique fire place and satellite TV. All the staff members have bathrooms by their bedrooms (usually two or three at most will share a bathroom).

Here is the office, for the administrators to discuss things. Also, students can use the office to get permission for off-campus activities, check mail, and escape the humidity.

Hilton Head is where the chefs go to get food for the school, the vet and farrier go for supplies, and the students go for shopping. The mall is here, along with the movie theater. Hilton Head is a short twenty minute ferry ride, and the horses are allowed to come through as most of the Hilton Head traffic is golf cart.

Though it's about an hour long drive, here we have the sweet Savannah, Georgia. The town is historic and lots of fun. It is a great place for a date.

Though it's quite a drive, most students spend a full weekend up here. There is a theater, thousands of shops, two malls, hundreds of bars and restaurants, and unlimited fun. Just be careful who you talk to when in the city.
